Fascia is both a wonderful and, at times, dreadful tissue fabric located everywhere in the body. Depending where it is and what it does, it can assume many names and function. Basically, fascia is the “FEELER” for the body, including feeling pain. Many times these fascia pains are noted as “referral pains“. They let us know that something needs to be looked into . The interesting problem with fascia pain is that it doesn’t necessarily mean that that is where the pain is. It could just be where you are feeling the stretch and the real problem is somewhere else, “hiding” and causing all sorts of grief! This is where I can help with myofascial release techniques to find those “tissue issues” and relieve you of your fascial tension. There are many problems that can be caused by this particular culprit. Refer to the list.
