There are many different things that can lead to knee pain,  including over all  body structure, genetics,  body mechanics, muscle imbalance, or meniscus, ligament and trauma concerns. The list can go on- and since I’m not a doctor, I can not diagnose,  however there are some things that are within my scope of practice. I can help pull the meniscus  back  into it’s home with some pain free techniques . I can also increase blood flow to affected  stagnant areas, use lymphatic draining technique to improve tissue health, and loosen tight  muscles to help create more muscle balance. A very important technique involves releasing adhesions  which can  be the primary cause of muscle pain. Depending on the issue, a better range of motion in the knee can usually be achieved which will only make the knee joint a happier joint!

Overall strengthening  may require the help of a local physical therapist . There are certain movements  that cause pain and they can generally give me an idea of what’s going on, but only a doctor can tell you for certain what the diagnosis is.
